A notebook for ordinary weekends
Coyote Creek Notes began as a place to keep the details that disappear first: the hour the fog lifted, a trail that was quieter than expected, or a sentence written down before driving home.
What belongs here
Mostly short entries about walking in and around the Santa Clara Valley. There are occasional notes about books, simple equipment, and nearby day trips.
What does not
This is not a trail-condition service or a comprehensive guide. Routes change, weather moves quickly, and official park notices should always take priority.
